Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Mytess ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Mytess is a mobile application that provides a user interface for viewing data from your self-hosted TeslaMate instance. The App:
- Connects directly to your TeslaMate API server
- Displays vehicle data, trip history, and charging records
- Provides analytics and visualizations of your data
- Does not interact with Tesla's official services or APIs
Requirements
To use Mytess, you must:
- Have a compatible iOS device (iOS 18.0 or later)
- Have access to a running TeslaMate instance with API enabled
- Be responsible for maintaining and securing your own TeslaMate server
In-App Purchases
Mytess offers a one-time "PRO" purchase that unlocks premium features. All purchases are:
- Processed through Apple's App Store
- Non-refundable except as required by applicable law
- Transferable to other devices using the same Apple ID
- Not automatically renewed - it's a lifetime purchase
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Continuous, uninterrupted access to the App
- Accuracy of data displayed (which depends on your TeslaMate server)
- Compatibility with future iOS versions or TeslaMate updates
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
Third-Party Services
Mytess is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. or the TeslaMate project. Tesla and TeslaMate are trademarks of their respective owners.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
